There are many ways you could help MFC. One of those ways is through Financial Support:

• You could make a one-time donation to MFC’s general fund, which we use for both general expenses as well as for other designated funds.
  
• You could set up a regular contribution to the general fund of MFC based on a specific commitment period, let’s say one year. Please note that you can stop these contributions at anytime at your discretion prior to the end of your commitment. We will not ask any questions and your contributions will stop starting the very next month after you submit your request.
• If you want to make a one-time or recurring donation to a specific MFC program, please specify this during the donation process. This might be one of the most intimate ways to support us. We will update you monthly of the progress your program is making and how your gift is being utilized.
  

At MFC, we have a goal to limit all administrative expenses of MFC to less than 10% of your donations (currently it is less than 1%), therefore we always welcome your professional help and other ways to support us.

An overwhelming percentage of Africa's population lives under very difficult conditions — below the poverty line. Many families have no permanent source of income and go days without food or clean water. With the AIDS epidemic, many families also lose their sole provider, leaving many single parents/mothers and children orphaned.

Our financial programs provide regular or monthly support to families with the greatest need. Monthly financial support is provided through MFC donations, however, we do not currently have a sponsorship program.

We also provide donations in kind to families in desperate need for food, clothes, materials or anything else that we can make available. We also follow up with families to make sure that money is spent on their essentials and not used for substance abuse or other inappropriate uses.
