Health services are one of the most important services any mission can be involved with. Due to the lack of health services and high drug costs in relation to average income levels, most people in Africa go without basic, essential and life-saving medical services.
The problem is even larger with the spread of the AIDS epidemic in many areas of the southern parts of Africa. The spread of this epidemic has caused major economic, social and emotional devastation among Africans. In many cases, with little support and basic health services, many lives could be saved. At MFC we are deeply concerned about these problems and are allocating a significant part of our resources to providing health services through different programs. We are constantly in great need for Doctors, Nurses and other health services personnel to contribute some of their time to help people through our mission. If you are a health care professional and would like to help, please fill out our form. We will be more than happy to schedule patients to be available for you upon your arrival. Sometimes a weekend's visit ends up saving many lives, and easing the pain and agony of many sick people. |
